...ramblings...

So... I had been wanting an earcuff for a long time but I didn't want to pay the exclusive prices... So ofcourse, I started to google how to DIY them... and I came across SEMI's DIY Ear Wrap ... So here is my first ear cuff... It's my first-- It won't be my last!

So let's start with the OOTD... One of my friends is graduation soon... So we went looking for a couple of dresses for her upcoming ceremonies... I took some pics of my outfit...  Rocking some of the bracelets I made... and a nice shot of some of the detail of my shirt... Sweater: Martin & Osa Shirt: Rucker by Target Jeggings-- bought them at Ross Stores and MORE bracelets... So I can't quite remember how many homemade bracelets I showed you... But here are the newest ones...  I'm pretty sure you've seen the gold and black ones... But the neon green, black &white and all white ones are new... Do you see how the neon green one is giving me life tho?  It is soooooo awesome! The gold and green are a barrel/circle stitch... The black and clear one ( eventhough you can really see the clear gimp ) is a square stitch... The white one is a triangle stitch... And the black and white one is a pentagon stitch... I enjoy making these so much... They re...

So I'm obsessed with doing basic lanyard stitches and turning them into jewelry... Yes I know... I'm 25... I've made them using gimp and micro suede cord... I plan to get some bright colors soon because summer is coming and they will look soo awesome stacked... -------------------------------------------- So Sunday was Easter Sunday/ Resurrection Sunday.. Here is my hair and makeup...totally planned on talking pics of my whole outfit... but by the time I got home I didn't feel like it... The eyes were just simple gold on the lid and brown and black in the crease... I think the gold color is actually Urban Decay's Baked... I used Red Cherry #213 lashes...very natural for church... And I primed my eyes with Jesse's Girl Eyeshadow Primer (love this stuff...) and NYX Eyeshadow Base in White... (also love...) ______________________ Super old look that somehow never got posted... I don't know why I did this... Meh, cute green look.... -------------...

So summer is coming... which makes  me think of the beach and cool things, awesome clothes and shoes, and wonderful bright, crazy jewelry... So over the last couple of day I've been making bangle out of "gimp" or Plastic Lace... I've even revamped old bangles that I didn't wear anymore into fresh new bangles for the summer... here are pics... bangles before... just plain plastic bangles... I also made a simple circle knot bracelet.... to show texture and detail... all the bangle I made.... Square Knot Bracelet, Cobra Knot Bracelet, Cobra Knot Bangle, Chinese Stairwell Bangle, & Circle Knot Bracelet... add a cute clasp....

So... whilst browsing my blogs I saw that Sugar Rock Cat Walk made and awesome bracelet out of rope and Hex Nuts.... The original (pictured above) is by Giles & Brother ... they have awesome jewelry btw... She got the idea from Honestly...WTF , an awesome blog for Fashion Frills and D.I.Y's.... So I went over to wal-mart, grabbed some micro suede cord, and some hex nuts and tried my hand... It is easy to do... even tho it is a little hard to get the full idea of it... at first ... For full instructions----->  Honestly...WTF ... Here's mine... I added a little circle clasp at the end... I'm still deciding if I like it... and some feather charms for a little flair... for detail I hope you guys try this DIY... I love it...
